St. Paul, Minn. – Last weekend,Rep. Luke Frederick (DFL-Mankato) was elected by members of the House DFL caucus to serve as an Assistant Majority Leader for the 2023-24 legislative session.
“I’m excited to receive the support of my peers to help steer the legislative agenda for the next two years,” said Rep. Frederick. “I’m honored to have a front row seat implementing policies to help all Minnesotans thrive and to make sure Greater Minnesota has a voice at the leadership table. With a projected budget surplus, and in partnering with the Senate, Governor Walz and Minnesotans, we can make positive impacts statewide.”
The Assistant Majority Leader works with the Majority Leader, Speaker, and other members to develop and implement the legislative agenda. The legislative session begins January 3, 2023.
