St. Paul - On Thursday, Minnesota Management and Budget released its November forecast, showing stability in the near term but clear warning signs for the future. State spending continues to outpace incoming revenue, placing Minnesota on a path toward potential deficits unless meaningful corrections are made.
Rep. Natalie Zeleznikar (R-Fredenberg Township) issued the following statement:
"This latest forecast makes it clearer than ever that Minnesota is still living with the consequences of massive overspending and overregulation under one-party Democrat control in 2023 and 2024. The policies pushed through during that time have left our state on unstable footing, and Minnesotans are now seeing the real cost of those decisions. We cannot continue down this path without jeopardizing our long-term financial health.”
