Bills Added:
HF3269 (Bunn) - Medical assistance dental coverage modified, covered services modified under the critical access dental program, criteria set for designating and terminating critical access dental providers, and money appropriated.
HF3686 (Hosch) - St. Cloud; nonprofit memory care clinic grant provided, and money appropriated.
HF3544 (Huntley) - State health care program payment rates reduced to managed care plans, and state health care program fee-for-service payment rates increased.
HF3066 (Thissen) - Administrative expense data reporting required, the Advisory Group on Administrative Expenses established, and money appropriated.
HF0677 (Bunn) - Body art procedures and establishments regulation system established, penalty fees adopted, and money appropriated.
HF1640 (Liebling) - Prescription drug academic detailing program established, and money appropriated.
HF3123 (Morgan) - K-12 special education third-party billing process made more cost effective.
HF3250 (Thissen) - PACE programs authorization modified, and money appropriated.
HF3047 (Huntley) - Office of Health Care Inspector General created, and commissioner of human services duties modified.
HF3713 (Huntley) - Medical assistance eligibility expanded to include certain adults without children, and money appropriated.
HF3010 (Bigham) - Firefighters and volunteer ambulance attendants allowed to purchase MinnesotaCare at full cost.

The division will take action on HF 3713, HF3279 and HF1320. All others will be laid over for possible omnibus bill inclusion.
Bills Added:
HF2582 (Clark) - Asthma coverage demonstration project medical assistance coverage modified.
HF3047 (Huntley) - Office of Health Care Inspector General created, and commissioner of human services duties modified.
HF3056 (Norton) - Provider peer grouping timelines and system modified, and agricultural cooperative health plan for farmers provision added.
HF3279 (Huntley) - Electronic health record technology provisions amended, administrative penalties provided, and money appropriated.
HF1320 (Swails) - Board of Pharmacy required to adopt rules regarding the substitution of drugs used for the treatment of epilepsy or seizure if the United States Food and Drug Administration determines that substitution may cause a health risk to patients.
HF3442 (Hosch) - License and registration fees increased for home care providers, nursing assistant registration fee created, housing with services establishments and personal care assistants modified, rate reduction provided for customized living services, phase-in for nursing facility rate rebasing changed, and nursing facility rate provisions changed.
HF3713 (Huntley) - Medical assistance eligibility expanded to include certain adults without children, and money appropriated.

Discussion with DHS of early expansion of Medical Assistance to people with incomes below 75% of poverty. (HF3713)

Discussion of the legality of counting Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits when determining eligibility for the Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP).

The Committee will take action on HF 3046.
