HF898 (Hornstein) Greenhouse gas reduction goals and strategies added to various state and metropolitan programs and plans, goals establish for per capita reduction in vehicle miles traveled to reduce greenhouse gasses, and money transferred.
HF1182 (Bly) Public service corporation exemptions repealed.
HF519 (Nelson) Nonconforming lots in shoreland areas regulated.
HF297 (Hansen) Twin Cities metropolitan area regional dog park and matching grant program created, and money appropriated.
Pending action in the Local Government Division:
HF 1238 (Dill) Refund provisions modified, definitions modified, publication requirements modified, restrictions in migratory feeding and resting areas modified, local law exemptions provided, wild animal and fish taking, possession, and licensing requirements provided, and certain fees authorized.

HF817 (Kahn) Postsecondary institution requirements expanded to report resident student information to the secretary of state for voter registration purposes, and enhanced access required to voter registration records of returned absentee ballots on the World wide Web.
HF1053 (Simon) Public officials required to provide additional data to the secretary of state for use in maintaining the voter registration system, and automatic voter registration of applicants for a driver's license, instruction permit, or identification card provided.
HF13 (Juhnke) State designer selection board abolished.

HF7 (Winkler) Laws prohibiting misuse of state funds clarified and strengthened.
HF14 (Hamilton) Jackson County; Process provided to make office of county auditor-treasurer appointive.
