Public informational hearing on local property taxes, including testimony and discussion on what costs are increasing the most for local governments and the impact on the community.

I. Review of 2019 major law changes on local taxes and aids to local governments.
II. Testimony from local officials on the main expenses their jurisdictions face, what costs are increasing most significantly, and challenges they face in setting budgets.
III. Testimony from the public

Public informational hearing on local property taxes, including testimony and discussion on what costs are increasing the most for local governments and the impact on the community. This afternoon hearing will also feature discussion on agricultural property taxes and the unique factors they present for the state and taxpayers.
