MINUTES


Representative Steve Smith, Chair of the Public Safety Policy and Finance Committee, called the forty-sixth meeting to order at 10:21 a.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2006 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Rep. Meslow moved approval of the minutes of March 15, 2006, Public Safety Policy and Finance Meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Eastlund assumed the Chair

Rep. Smith moved HF2916 (Smith) relating to fire safety account established from fire premium and assessment revenue, fire insurance tax abolished, fire insurance policyholder surcharge established, and money appropriated.
