MINUTES
Rep. Andy Westerberg, Chair of the Gaming Division of the Regulated Industries Committee, called the first meeting unofficially to order at 2:30 p.m. on January 26, 2005, 2005 in Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.
The Clerk noted the roll.

Tom Barrett, Gambling Control Board, testified before the committee.
Rep. Westerberg called the meeting officially to order at 2:55 p.m. A quorum was present.
Rep. Westerberg announced that the Gaming Division of the Regulated Industries Committee would operate under the same committee rules of the full policy committee.
Clint Harris, Executive Director, Minnesota State Lottery, testified before the committee.
Frank Ball, Department of Public Safety, Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division, testified before the committee.
Richard Krueger, Minnesota Racing Commission, testified before the committee.
Rep. Hackbarth requested audited financial statements from the Minnesota Racing Commission for 2003 and 2004.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
