MINUTES
Representative Marty Seifert, Chairman of the State Government Finance Committee, called the twenty-ninth meeting to order at 10:35 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative DeLaForest moved the approval of minutes for April 20. THE MOTION PREVAILED.  THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
Representative Hilty moved the approval of minutes for April 27, 2005.  THE MOTION 
PREVAILED.  THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
Representative Seifert made introductory comments on the agenda for the hearing.
An overview was given of the effects of the smoking ban on the charitable gaming industry.

An overview was given on State agency procurement policies and expenditures on motor vehicle fuels, as well as the effect of gas prices on agency vehicle usage.

A brief overview was given by MNDot of aesthetic design programs and considerations for construction projects.
