STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE COMMITTEE
MINUTES
Representative Marty Seifert, Chairman of the State Government Finance Committee, called the thirty-first meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 in Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Finstad moved the approval of minutes for September 27, 2005.  THE MOTION PREVAILED.  THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
Representative Solberg moved the approval of minutes for March 8, 2006.  THE MOTION PREVAILED.  THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
A summary was given on the Department of Administration’s report on the Ford Building.
	Testifying:	Jim Rhodes, Department of Administration.
The Capitol Area Architecture and Planning Board gave an overview of their bonding requests.

			Ray Fairicy, Friends of the Capitol Board Member
The Department of Military Affairs gave an overview of the Governor’s bonding proposals.

			Terry Palmer, Comptroller, Dept. of Military Affairs
The committee then previewed Rep. Kahn’s HF2602.
