MINUTES


Representative Phil Krinkie, Chair of the Taxes Committee, called the sixth meeting to order at 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday, February 01, 2005, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Chairman Krinkie announced a continuation of testimony from the Department of Revenue. It consisted of an overview of Governor Pawlenty’s budget proposals that relate to the Tax Committee followed by a presentation on the Model Revenue System for Minnesota.

Testifying was:

Daniel Salomone, Commissioner of the Department of Revenue

Rep. Lenczewski moved approval of the committee minutes for Thursday, January 27, 2005.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
