MINUTES


Representative Phil Krinkie, Chair of the Taxes Committee, called the sixteenth meeting to order at 10:24 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2005, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Chairman Krinkie moved HF 229 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Tax Committee’s omnibus bill.

Vice-Chair Simpson assumed the chair.


Chair Simpson moved HF 919 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Tax Committee’s omnibus bill.

Chair Simpson moved HF 943 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Tax Committee’s omnibus bill.
Representative Lanning moved the amendment labeled H0943A1, which states that on page 5, line 14, after “106,” insert “108,” to be adopted and incorporated into HF 943.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Simpson laid HF 919 over for possible inclusion in the Tax Committee’s omnibus bill.


Representative Vandeveer assumed the chair.


Vice-Chair Simpson moved HF 1526 to be passed and referred to the consent calendar.
Testifying was:

Vice Chair Simpson renews his motion that HF 1526 be passed and referred to the consent calendar.

Rep. Jaros moved approval of the committee minutes for Tuesday, March 8, 2005.
