MINUTES


Representative Phil Krinkie, Chair of the Taxes Committee, called the eighteenth meeting to order at 10:25 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Chairman Krinkie moved HF 770 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Tax Committee’s omnibus bill.
Testifying was:

Chairman Krinkie laid HF 770 over for possible inclusion in the Tax Committee’s omnibus bill.

Representative Abrams moved HF 1234 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Tax Committee’s omnibus bill.
Testifying was:

Jack Mansun; Assistant Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Revenue
Chairman Krinkie laid HF 1234 over for possible inclusion in the Tax Committee’s omnibus bill.

Representative Abrams moved HF 1789 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the tax Committee’s omnibus bill.
Chairman Krinkie laid HF 1789 over for possible inclusion in the Tax Committee’s omnibus bill.

Chairman Krinkie laid the following bills to the Property and Local Tax division of the Tax Committee:
House Files 1584 Mullery, 1613 Lesch, 1624 Davids, 1684 Gazelka, 1691 Westrom, 1698 Pelowski, 1784 Demmer, 1790 Dorn, and 1797 Otremba.

Representative Vandeveer moved approval of the committee minutes for Tuesday, March 15, 2005.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
