MINUTES


Representative Ray Vandeveer, Chairman of the Property and Local Tax Division Committee, called the sixteenth meeting to order at 7:43 PM on Friday, April 29, 2005, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

The Chair moved the Tax 2 amendment to the Division Report. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

The Chair moved approval of the minutes dated 4/26/05. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Nelson moved HDA107 amendment to the Division Report. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Lanning moved KB71 amendment to the Division Report. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Rukavina moved TS104 amendment to the Division Report. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WA ADOPTED.

Rep. Abrams moved the following oral amendment:
Page 14, delete Section 16, line 19. Delete new language in lines 4 and 5.
Page 24 and 25, delete paragraph E.
Page 25, delete lines 1 and 2.

THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Rukavina called for a Division.

There were 6 in ayes and 6 nays. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Rep. Rukavina moved to adoption of the Division Report. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

The chair called for Division. There were 8 ayes and 4 nays. THE REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

The meeting adjourned at 7:59 PM.
