MINUTES


Representative Mary Liz Holberg, Chair of the Transportation Finance Committee, called the Fourteenth meeting to order at 12:30 P.M. on Thursday March 10, 2005, in
Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Hausman moved approval of the March 8, 2005 Transportation Finance Committee Meeting Minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

Discussion occurred about the Transportation Choices 2020, a funding proposal by the MN Public Transit Partners Coalition.

Representative Erhardt discussed the 2020 proposal.

The proposal was held over until a later date.

HF0310 (Bernardy) Ramsey County property interests transfer authorized.

Representative Holberg moved HF0310 be presented and held for possible inclusion in the Transportation Finance Omnibus Bill.

Representative Bernardy presented HF0310.

Chair Holberg laid HF310 on the table.

HF0883 (Vandeveer) Disabled American Veterans members specified as eligible for special veterans service group license plates.

Representative Holberg moved HF0883 be heard and held over for possible inclusion the the Transportation Finance Omnibus Bill.

Representative Holberg moved amendment H0883A2 (see attached). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Holberg moved verbal amendment to the H0883A2 amendment:

Line 7 delete "and total"

THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Holberg renewed her motion that HF0105, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Finance Omnibus Bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF0171 (Anderson, B) Special Global War on Terrorism veterans license plates authorized.

Representative Anderson moved HF0171 be heard and held over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Finance Omnibus Bill.

Representative Anderson presented HF0171.
