Don Gerhardt, CEO of LifeScience Alley, and Dale Wahlstrom, CEO of BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota, provided an industry overview. Questions and discussion followed.
Jay Schrankler, Executive Director of the Office for Technology Commercialization at the University of Minnesota, presented commercialization opportunities and challenges.
Curt Kinghorn, CEO of Sirius Strategic and Anoka Medical, discussed early stage funding challenges and investment tax credits.
Dan Baker, NVE Corp, discussed the SBIR Program. Questions followed.
Mark Ungs, ACTx, discussed spin out technologies.
Brent Eilefson, Upsher-Smith Laboratories, discussed the general business climate. Questions and discussion followed.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:21 PM.
