MINUTES


Representative Joe Atkins, Chair of the Commerce and Labor Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:02 P.M. on February 22, 2007, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Anzelc moved that the minutes of February 20, 2007 be adopted.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 131 (Hilstrom) Social Security number use restricted.

Representative Atkins moved HF 131.

Representative Atkins moved the A07-0102 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Atkins moved to orally amend HF 131 as follows: remove the A07-0059 amendment: undo Representative Davnie's oral amendment as follows: restore L 2.12 of the first committee engrossment. THE AMENDMENTS WERE ADOPTED.

Representative Atkins moved that HF 131, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Public Safety and Civil Justice Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

SF 372 (Gerlach)/ HF 189 (DeLaForest) Crime of ticket scalping repeal.

Representative Atkins moved that HF 189 be laid over. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Atkins moved SF 372.

Representative Atkins moved that SF 372 be recommended to pass. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Lillie assumed the gavel at 4:22pm.

HF 282 (Atkins) Pharmaceutical products exception provided where competition exists relating to law prohibiting sales below cost.

Representative Atkins moved the H0282A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Atkins moved the H0282A3 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lillie moved to orally amend the H0282A3 amendment as follows: L 1.2, delete the number "16" and replace it with the number "6". THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Atkins moved that HF 282, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Health Policy Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
