E-12 EDUCATION COMMITTEE
MINUTES
Representative Carlos Mariani, Chair of the E-12 Education Committee, called the first meeting to order at 8:05 AM on Thursday, January 11, 2007, in the Basement Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Chair Mariani welcomed Members, staff and audience to the first E-12 Education Committee meeting and provided a brief overview of the committee procedures, goals, and housekeeping items.
Chair Mariani introduced the committee staff.
Introduction of Members, their districts, their experience with E-12 education in Minnesota, and their goals for the committee.
Chair Mariani concluded with a few comments about the upcoming Session and noted the agenda for the next meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 AM.
