Rep. Slawik moved to amend HF6, Second Committee Engrossment, as amended. (See attached amendment A07-0695) which is the language of HF1056, Second Committee Engrossment Article 2, pertaining to the Department of Education amended in the Finance Committee on April 2, 2007).

Rep. Slawik moved to amend the Amendment A07-0695, correcting a technical mistake. (See attached amendment H0006A73). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Kahn and Rep. Hilty presented HF953, First Committee Engrossment (Kahn) State Government Finance Omnibus bill.

Rep. Kahn moved to amend HF953, First Committee Engrossment. (See attached amendment H0953A69 deleting Article 1, Section 16 and Article 2 Sections 9 and 10 relating to Military Affairs that was incorporated into the Agriculture, Rural Economies and Veterans Affairs bill April 10, 2007). Rep Jaros moved to amend HF 953, Second Engrossment, as amended. (See attached
Amendment H0953A68 incorporating HF1660 First Committee Engrossment Article 1 Sections 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 12 pertaining to public broadcasting, the Amateur Sports Commission, and the cultural affairs councils). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Kahn moved that HF953, First Committee Engrossment, be laid over for inclusion in
an omnibus bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Carlson moved that SF1997, Second Engrossment (Betzold) State Departments
Omnibus Appropriations Bill) (See language at http://wdoc.house.leg.state.mn.us/leg/LS85/SF1997.2.pdf). be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Rep. Kahn moved to delete the Senate language in SF1997, Second Engrossment, and insert
HF953, First Committee Engrossment, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED

Rep. Carlson renewed the motion that SF1997, Second Engrossment, as amended, be
recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION
PREVAILED.
