Representative Al Juhnke, Chair, called the twenty-second meeting to order at 10:06AM on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 in Basement of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Finstad moved that the minutes of March 21, 2007 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 2227 (Juhnke); a bill relating to state government; appropriating money for agricultural, veterans, and military affairs purposes; establishing and modifying certain programs; modifying certain accounts and fees; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, sections 17.03, subdivision 3; 17.101, etc.
Chair Juhnke moved that HF 2227 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Finance.
Chair Juhnke moved the
H2227DE1 amendment (attached). THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Jim Reinholdz, Fiscal Analyst, presented a fiscal analysis of the
H2227DE1 amendment.
Chair Juhnke presented the
H2227DE1 amendment. Discussion and questions followed.
Chair Juhnke moved that HF 2227, as amended, be laid on the table.
