MINUTES


Representative Bev Scalze, Vice Chair of the Capital Investment Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:22 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll. A quorum was present.

Rep. Carlson moved approval of the minutes from the meeting of Monday, March 19, 2007. MOTION PREVAILED THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED

HF 886 (Hausman) Capital improvements funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated - Omnibus Capital Investment Finance bill.

Rep. Hausman continued the discussion on HF886, the H0886DE2 delete everything amendment, see attached

Rep. Hausman moved to amend HF886, the H0886DE2 delete everything amendment, with the H0886A5 amendment, see attached.

MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Rep. Dean moved to amend HF886, the H0886DE2 delete everything amendment, with the H0886A3 amendment, see attached.
MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDEMNT WAS ADOPTED

Rep. Hausman moved to amend HF886, the H0886DE2 delete everything amendment, with the H0886A7 amendment, see attached.
MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Rep. Hausman moved to amend HF886, the H0886DE2 delete everything amendment, with the H0886A4 amendment, see attached.
MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Hausman moved to amend HF886, the H0886DE2 delete everything amendment, with the H0886A8 amendment, see attached.

- John Herman, Faegre & Benson, Attorney for Non-Profit State Bond Financed Property Entities (MacPhail, Shubert, Ordway), explained the amendment.

MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED



Rep. Hausman renewed the motion that HF 886, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Finance. MOTION PREVAILED

The meeting was adjourned at 3:00 p.m.
