MINUTES


Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the twelfth meeting to order at 10:03 a.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Clark called the meeting to order at 10:03 a.m.

Representative Kranz assumed the gavel at 10:05 a.m.

Representative Clark moves to layover HF696 for inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF696 (Clark) Lead abatement program modified

Representative Clark presented the bill to the committee.

Representative Clark moves H0969A1. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Clark renewed her motion that HF696 be laid over for inclusion in the omnibus bill. Hearing no objection, the bill was laid over.

Representative Clark moves to layover HF695 for inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF695 (Clark) Lead Poisoning Prevention Act modified relating to testing and blood lead levels reporting, sale of children's items containing lead prohibited, medical assistance coverage provided and lead hazards in properties disclosure required

Representative Clark presented the bill to the committee.

Representative Morgan moved that the minutes of February 20 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
