MINUTES
Representative Kahn, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:21 P.M. on, January 18, 2007, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Hilty moved that the minutes of January 16, 2007 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Judy Randall, Program Evaluator and Jim Nobles, Legislative Auditor, both from the Legislative Auditor's office (OLA), presented an overview of the OLA report on State Grants to Nonprofits.
Marcia Avner, Public Policy Director for the MN Council of Nonprofits and Richard Cowles, Executive Director of the Charities Review Council both commented on the OLA report on State Grants to Nonprofits.
Lawrence Martin, Executive Director, Legislative Commission on Pensions and Retirement (LCPR), gave an overview of the LCPR.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:47 P.M.
