MINUTES



Representative Kahn, Chair of the Division, called the meeting to order at 2:27 P.M. on February 28, 2008 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was not present.


SF 1436 (Hilstrom) - State auditor provisions modifications.

Chair Kahn moved that SF 1436 be heard and recommended to pass and be re-referred to Finance Committee.

A quorum was present at 2:37 P.M.

Representative Hilstrom and Mark Kerr, Assistant Legal Council for the State Auditor's office, testified in support of SF 1436.

Chair Kahn renewed her motion that SF 1436 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Gopal Khanna, Chief Information Officer and John Lally, Planning Director, both from the Office of Enterprise Technology (OET), presented a summary of two OET reports: Electronic Documents Study and Information Technology Funding Strategies.

Representative Ward moved that the minutes of February 19, 2008 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Chair Kahn introduced the committee's new Page, Jeff Mack.


The meeting was adjourned at 3:38 P.M.
