MINUTES


Representative Loren Solberg, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 10:15am in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Westrom moved that the minutes of May 11, 2010 be adopted as corrected.
THE MOTION PREVAILED


SF2629 (Swails) Voting equipment and vote-counting equipment grant funding provided, grant terms and procedures specified, and money appropriated.

Representative Swails moved that SF2629 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.

Representative Swails presented SF2629.

Kevin Corbin, Washington County, testified on behalf of SF2629.

Representative Swails renewed her motion that SF2629 pass and be placed on the General Register.
THE MOTION PREVAILED


Representative Solberg and Representative Holberg thanked committee members and staff for all of their hard work throughout the legislative session.


The Committee stands in recess at 10:30 am.

If the Committee does not reconvene it will automatically adjourn at the end of the legislative day.
