Representative Ann Lenczewski, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:10 A.M. on April 15, 2009 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Koenen moved HF2297 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Public Finance Bill.

Representative Koenen moved amendment A09-0434. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Koenen renewed his motion that HF2297 be laid over as amended for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Public Finance Bill.

Representative Marquart moved HF2254 for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF2254-Doty-Little Falls; Food and beverage tax extended

Representative Marquart renewed his motion that HF2254 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

Representative Lenczewski called up HF1574 from the Property Tax Division.

Representative Koenen moved HF1574 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF1574-Koenen-Utility property class rate increased

Representative Davnie moved HF2191 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF2191-Davnie-Tobacco provisions modified relating to moist snuff

Representative Davnie renewed his motion that HF2191 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF1896-Clark-Alcohol health and judicial impact fund established and impact fee imposed

HF2125-Clark-Chemical dependency aggressive initiative provided, alcoholic beverage tax increased to fund the initiative, obsolete language eliminated, technical corrections made, and money appropriated
