Representative Lesch, Chair of the Tax Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:06PM on Monday, April 26, 2010 in Room 10 of the State Office Building. The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll:

Representative Downey moved HF3566 for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

Representative Marquart moved HF2894 for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

Representative Reinert moved the minutes from April 20, 2010. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

Representative Carlson moved HF3739 for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF3739 (Carlson) Bond allocation limits modified, and transfer authorized.

Testifying on HF3739: Mark Misukanis, Office of Higher Education.

Representative Davnie moved HF2527 for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF2527 (Davnie) Low-income housing project construction material exemption expanded.

Representative Davnie moved amendment H2527A2. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Loon assumed the gavel.

Representative Lesch moved HF3344 for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

HF3344 (Lesch) Homeless prevention and food shelf programs income tax checkoff authorized.

Representative Lesch moved amendment H3344A2. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lesch assumed the gavel.

Representative Mullery moved SF1126 be passed and sent to the General Register.

SF1126 (Mullery) Tax-forfeited property use and conveyance procedures modified.

Testifying on SF1126: Jason Nord, Minnesota Department of Revenue

Representative Mullery moved that the language in HF1395 replace the language in SF1126. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Mullery moved amendment H1395A4. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Carlson moved an oral amendment to SF1126 as amended: line 7.23, strike "neighborhood" and insert "community" THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED.

Representative Mullery renewed his motion that SF1126 pass as amended and be sent to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE BILL WAS PASSED AS AMENDED AND SENT TO THE GENERAL REGISTER.

Representative Lesch adjourned the committee at 4:35 PM
