Representative Bill Hilty, Chair, called the forty-seventh meeting to order at 2:12 p.m. on April 20, 2010 in the Basement hearing room of the State office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Rep. Brynaert moved approval of the minutes of April 15, 2010. The motion prevailed. The minutes were adopted.

HF3415 (Kalin) Public Utilities Commission's decisions required to further goals of state energy efficiency and renewable energy, showings modified in certificate of need process, and study required.

Rep. Kalin moved that HF3415 be recommended to pass and returned to the Committee on Finance.

Rep. Kalin moved the H3415DE1 amendment.

Rep. Kalin incorporated the following oral amendment:

Line 4.33, strike "commissioner" and insert "commission"

The motion prevailed. The DE1 amendment as amended was adopted.

Rep. Kalin moved the H3415A2 amendment.

The motion prevailed. The A2 amendment was adopted.

Rep. Kalin explained the bill.
