Vice Chair Abeler began the fifty-fourth meeting of the Health Care and Human Services Finance Division at 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

HF 2614 (Huntley) Intensive care management program established for medical assistance enrollees, funding reduced for the medical assistance program, request for proposals required, report required, and money appropriated

Representative Huntley explained his bill and at 1:23 p.m. a quorum was present and the Vice Chair formally called the meeting to order. The clerk noted the roll:

Vice Chair Abeler moved HF 2614 before the committee. Representative Huntley moved adoption of the H2614A1 amendment. Following discussion, the motion prevailed.

Representative Huntley moved HF 2614, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Care and Human Services Finance omnibus finance bill. The motion prevailed.

At 1:26 p.m. Chair Huntley assumed the gavel.

H.F. 3442 (Hosch) License and registration fees increased for home care providers, nursing assistant registration fee created, housing with services establishments and personal care assistants modified, rate reduction provided for customized living services, phase-in for nursing facility rate rebasing changed, and nursing facility rate provisions changed

Representative Hosch made closing statements on his bill. Chair Huntley laid HF 3442 over for possible inclusion in the Health Care and Human Services omnibus finance bill and adjourned the meeting at 2:40 p.m.
