MINUTES


Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the forty-second meeting to order at 10:33 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Benson moved that HF3701 (Hilty) ambulance service payment required within a geographic area, be laid over for possible inclusion to an omnibus bill.

Representative Hilty presented HF3701 (Hilty).

Representative Benson renewed the motion that HF3701 (Hilty), be laid over possible inclusion to an omnibus bill. Hearing no objection, the bill was laid over.

Representative McNamara moved that HF3512 (Hansen), indoor ice arenas required to have electronic air monitoring devices, and grants to construct and renovate indoor ice arenas required to require electronic air monitoring device, be returned to the Committee on Finance.

Representative McNamara moved an amendment to HF3512 (See attached amendment H3512DE1).

Representative McNamara moved to incorporate the H3512A7 amendment into the H3512DE1 amendment. Hearing no objection, the amendment was incorporated.

Representative McNamara renewed the motion that the H3512DE1 amendment, as amended, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hansen presented HF3512 as amended.
