MINUTES

Representative Lieder, Chair of the Transportation Finance and Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 12:35P.M. on Thursday, February 5, 2009 in Room 10 of the State Capitol. This was a joint meeting with the Senate Transportation Committee.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Rep. Hornstein moved to adopt the Transportation/Transit Policy and Oversight Division report of HF116 (Ward). His motion was that HF116 be recommended to pass and rereferred to the House Public Safety and Policy Oversight Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Rep. Hornstein moved adoption of the committee minutes from February 3, 2009. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The Joint House/Senate Transportation Committee was called to order and the following presented the Minnesota Departments of Transportation (MnDOT) and Administration Transportation Strategic Management and Operations Advisory Task Force Report key findings and recommendations:
