MINUTES
Representative Hornstein, Chair of the Transportation and Transit Policy and Oversight Division, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Peter Bell, Chair, Metropolitan Council shared overview information with the committee. Arlene McCarthy, Director of Metropolitan Transportation Services of the Met Council, shared their transportation policy plan (TPP).
Representative Swails moved the minutes from January 21, 2009. Representative Torkelson reported that his name was not noted in the roll for the past two meetings, 1/07/09 and 1/21/09, and that he was in attendance at those meetings. The correction was made and THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Dave Van Hattum, Transit for Liveable Communities, shared information of importance to his organization’s concerns. Ethan Fauly, Fresh Energy, shared his organization’s transportation issues.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:30 P.M.
