AGRICULTURE, RURAL ECONOMIES AND VETERANS AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Otremba, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at
2:47P.M. on January 28, 2009, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Rep. Doty moved approval of the minutes from January 26, 2009.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

Mr. David Lein, Minnesota Department of Military Affairs and Colonel Eric Ahlness gave a presentation on the Minnesota National Guard Youth Challenge Program Study.

The following House Files were referred to the Veteran Affairs Division:
HF303 (Lillie) Congress of the United States memorialized to appoint an independent counsel to investigate the Prisoner of War - Missing in Action issue.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:17 P.M.
