Representative Kent Eken, Chair of the Environment Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:50 PM, on March 26, 2009, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hansen moved that the minutes from March 24, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Eken moved HF 519 be recommended to pass and be referred to the General Register.

On line 1.4 remove "The Clean Water Legacy Council" and insert "Commissioner of Administration"

Representative Sterner moved the following oral amendment to the H2117A3 amendment:
Delete section 2 and insert "The requirements for the report specified in subdivision 3, paragraph (b), clause (2) of this section that is due on April 1, 2010 shall be abbreviated in scope. The information collected shall be sufficient for the commissioner to determine that counties have complied with the requirement of this subdivision."
The oral amendment was incorporated into the H2117A3 amendment.
