MINUTES


Representative David Dill, Chair of the Game, Fish and Forestry Division, called the meeting to order at 4:37 PM, on February 22, 2010 in the Basement of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Murdock moved that the minutes from February 15, 2010 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Dill moved that HF 2811 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Game and Fish bill.

Coyote conflict management option provided for counties

The following people provided testimony on HF 2811:
Representative Koenen
Jeffrey Lopez, Chippewa County Commissioner
Ed Boggess, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources
Thom Petersen, Minnesota Farmers Union
Howard Goldman, Human Society

HF 2811 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Game and Fish Omnibus bill.

Chair Dill moved that HF 2955 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Game and Fish Omnibus bill.

Deer killed by a motor vehicle permitted to be kept by the driver
