POLICY AND OVERSIGHT DIVISION

MINUTES

Representative Obermueller, Vice-Chair of the Bioscience and Workforce Development Policy and Oversight Division called the meeting to order at 1:15 P.M. on January15, 2009 in Room 300S of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Mack moved approval of the Minutes from the January 13, 2009 meeting. MOTION PREVAILED AND MINUTES ARE APPROVED.

HF4: relating to unemployment compensation; providing for a new base period for calculating benefits; providing for a limited extension of benefits.

Representative Mahoney moved HF4 be recommended to pass and returned to the Higher Education and Workforce Development Finance and Policy Committee and presented the bill.

Representative Mahoney renewed his motion that HF4 be recommended to pass and returned to the Higher Education and Workforce Development Finance and Policy Committee. MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Obermueller announced the next meeting will be Tuesday, January 20th.

The Committee was adjourned at 1:25 P.M.
