MINUTES


Representative Michael Nelson, Chair of the Local Government Division, called the fifth meeting to order at 4:33 P.M. on February 23, 2009, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

A quorum was present

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll

Rep. Sterner, Vice Chair, acted as Chair while Rep. Nelson presented his bill

HF530 (Nelson): Comprehensive plan reviews by adjacent governmental unit time period modified, and water management plan requirements clarified.

Representative Nelson moved approval of HF530 before the committee to pass and be re-referred to the State & Local Government Operations Reform, Technology & Elections Committee

Chair Nelson invited the Minnesota Sports Facilities Commission (MSFC) to give an informational overview and presentation to the committee.
