MINUTES
Representative Dennis McNamara, Chair of the Environment, Energy & Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee, called the fifth meeting to order at 8:16 a.m. on January 19, 2011, in the Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Peder Larson, Larkin Hoffman Law Firm, gave presentation on "Reforming Environmental Review".
A quorum was present at 8:18 a.m.
James Nobles and Jody Hauer, Office of the Legislative Auditor, gave an update on their environmental review/permitting audit.
David Smiga, United States Steel, Chris Arnold, Minnergy and Bob Ferguson, Heron Lake Biofuel gave stakeholder comments on environmental review and permitting.
Representative Beard moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on January 18, 2011 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:59 a.m.
