Representative Denny McNamara, Chair of the Committee on Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Policy and Finance called the thirty-second meeting to order at 8:20 a.m. on March 22, 2011, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

Steve Morse, MN Environmental Partnership and Don Arnosti, MN Audobon Society testified on the fiscal impact of the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Finance Omnibus bill. (
H1010DE1 Amendment).
Mike Robertson, MN Chamber of Commerce, John Hottinger, Sierra Club, Shannon Lotthammer, MNPCA, Melinda Suelflow, Water Legacy, Matt Tyler, citizen, Ajuawak Kapashesit, citizen, Chaste Dauphin, citizen, Bess Boerer, citizen testified on sections 14-16 of the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Finance Omnibus bill. (H1010DE1 Amendment). The sections pertain to wild rice standards.
Rep. McNamara moved a recess to the call of the chair at 9:59 a.m.
Rep. McNamara reconvened the committee at 4:52 p.m. in room 10 of the State Office Building.
Thom Peterson, MN Farmers Union, testified on the fiscal impact of the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Finance Omnibus bill. (H1010DE1 Amendment).
Kevin Proescholdt, citizen, Bob Tamin, citizen, Bruce Anderson, citizen, Don Arnosti, Audobon Society, Paula Maccabee, Water Legacy and Margaret Munson, citizen, testified on article 3, sections 14-16 of the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Finance Omnibus bill. (H1010DE1 Amendment). The sections pertain to wild rice standards.
Bruce Zumbahlen, MN Forestry Association, testified on the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Finance Omnibus bill as it relates to forestry. (H1010DE1 Amendment).
Don Arnosti, MN Audobon Society, Wayne Brandt, MN Forest Industries, and Steve Chaplin, MN Nature Conservancy, testified on article 3, section 13 of the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Finance Omnibus bill (H1010DE1 Amendment). The section pertains to school trust lands.
