HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES REFORM COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Gottwalt, Chair, of the Health and Human Services Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:43 P.M. on February 23, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

HF367 Banaian Municipal laboratories certification exempted.

Representative Huntley moved approval of the minutes of February 22, 2011. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Gottwalt moved that HF367 be recommended to pass and be sent to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Testifying on HF367 were Representative Banaian, Senator John Pederson, Scott Gilbertson, Water/Wastewater Supervisor, Melrose Public Utilities, Elizabeth Wefel, Coalition of Greater Mn Cities, Shaunna Johnson, City Administrator, Waite Park, John Linc Stine, Assistant Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Health, and Health Protection Bureau.

Representative Gottwalt renewed his motion that HF367 be recommended to pass and be sent to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:40 P.M.
