MINUTES
Representative Gottwalt, Chair of the Health and Human Services Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:37 P.M. on March 20, 2012, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Gottwalt officially called the meeting to order at 2:37. A quorum was present.
SF 1212 (Holberg) Health records; adult children of a deceased patient added to the definition of patient.
Representative Gottwalt moved that SF1212 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law.
Representative Gottwalt moved to orally amend SF1212 by: P. 2, L.2.6 after spouse "insert" surviving. THE ORAL AMENDNMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF 2341 (Peppin) Abortion; prescribing physicians required to be physically present when abortion-inducing drugs are administered, and criminal penalty provided.
Representative Gottwalt moved that HF2341 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law.
