Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:15 a.m. on February 9, 2012 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Loon moved HF 1822.
HF 1822 (Loon) Tax reform action commission established, commission appointments authorized, report preparation directed to the legislature, and money appropriated.
Representative Loon moved an oral amendment. On Line 3.16 strike July 1st, 2013 and insert March 1st, 2013. THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED.

Representative Paymar moved to approve the minutes dated February 1, 2012. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
Dr. Paul Wilson of the Minnesota Department of Revenue presented the Tax Expenditure Report.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:51 a.m.
