ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative David Dill, Chair of the Committee, called the first meeting to order at 4:00 P.M, on January 15, 2013, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Presentation of USACE Lock and Dam 1 Asian Carp Deterrence Alternatives Report was made by Steve Hirsch, Director of Ecological Resources and Waters Division of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, along with Bob Meier, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Legislative Director.

Mr. Geoff Griffin, CEO, G-Cubed, provided comments relative to electric fish barriers.

Question and answer period followed the presentation of the report.

Chair conducted introductions of committee members.

Meeting adjourned: 5:30 P.M.
