MINUTES

Representative Wagenius, Chair of the Committee on Environment, Natural Resources, and Agriculture Finance, called the meeting to order at 8:22 a.m., Tuesday, March 18th, 2013 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF1976 (Falk) Terrestrial invasive species research center money appropriated

Representative Falk moved that HF1976 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Environment, Natural Resources, and Agriculture Finance Omnibus bill.

Representative Falk moved to amend HF1976 (see attached H1976DE1 amendment).

Representative Falk moved to amend the H1976DE1 amendment as follows:

Page 2 line 3, after “prairies” insert “and other native species”

THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Falk renewed the motion to amend HF1976 (see attached amendment H1976DE1 as amended).
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Falk explained HF1976 as amended.

Representative Falk renewed the motion that HF1976, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Environment, Natural Resources, and Agriculture Finance Omnibus bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF84 (Lesch) Dog and cat breeder licensing and inspection provided, funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Wagenius moved that HF84 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Environment, Natural Resources, and Agriculture Finance Omnibus bill.

Representative Lesch explained HF84.

Chair Wagenius moved to amend HF84 as follows:

Page 7 line 1 after “the” insert “alleged”

THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Wagenius moved to amend HF84, as amended (see attached A14-0853 amendment). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF2101 (Hansen) Plastic microbeads in surface water study money appropriated.

Representative Hansen moved that HF2101 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Environment, Natural Resources, and Agriculture Finance Omnibus bill.

Representative Hansen moved to amend HF2101 (See attached H2101A3)
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hansen explained HF2101 as amended.

Representative Hansen renewed the motion that HF2101, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Environment, Natural Resources, and Agriculture Finance Omnibus bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Freiberg moved approval of the minutes for Tuesday, March 11th 2014 and Thursday, March 13th 2014.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:42 a.m.
