Chair Thomas Huntley began the twelfth meeting of the Health Care and Human Services Finance Committee at 10:04 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

Testifying on the Governor's budget pertaining to Minnesota Department of Health:

Representative Halverson moved approval of the February 7, 2013 minutes. The motion prevailed. The minutes were approved.

The Chair announced the presence of 7th and 8th grade visitors from The Friends School of Minnesota, St. Paul, who were participating in the Minnesota Historical Society Capitol Historic Site's "Voice of the People: Your Role in Minnesota Government" tour and education program. Members applauded their visit.

Abigail Read's testimony continued.

Discussion occurred.

Testimony from Doug Berg, Fiscal Analyst, regarding biennial budget pages for the Minnesota State Council on Disability and the Office of Ombudsperson for Families.

Chair Huntley adjourned the meeting at 11:30 a.m.
