MINUTES

Representative Murphy, Chair of Committee on State Government Finance and Veterans Affairs, called the meeting to order at 5:15 April 4, 2013 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Newton called the meeting to order at 5:17 PM

Representative Murphy presented and discussed A13-0400 delete everything amendment to HF 1184.

Helen Roberts, Fiscal Analyst, discussed the agency/program base spending/decision items spreadsheet for the A13-0400 delete everything amendment.

Jim Cleary, House Research Analyst, discussed the Veterans Affairs portions (Articles 2 and 3) of the A13-0400 delete everything amendment.

Mark Shepard, House Research Analyst, discussed the State Government Finance portion (Articles 1,4,5,6 and 7) of the A13-0400 delete everything amendment.

Chair Newton stated the committee would proceed with questions from Rep. Murphy and committee members.

Public Testimony was welcomed:

Rep. Murphy announced that amendments would be due by 4:00 pm on Friday, April 5th or 9:00 am on Monday, April 8, 2013. The committee will be meeting on Monday April 8, 2013 and Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the normal time, 12:30 in room 200. There is a room available in the evening if necessary to finish the day's agenda.

Rep. Wills moved approval of the minutes as amended from the meeting on Thursday, March 21, 2013. MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED

The meeting was adjourned at 7:34.
