Representative Davnie, Chair of Property and Local Tax Division, called the meeting to order on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 4:04 pm in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Davnie re-referred the following bills to the Committee on Taxes:
HF 2532 (Zerwas) Sales tax exemption for units of local government modified, and money appropriated.
HF 2483 (Schomacker) Aggregate production tax rates imposed by counties made permanent.
HF 2457 (Poppe) Local government exemption expanded.
HF 2432 (Anzelc) Itasca County authorized to issue general obligation bonds for the county nursing home.
HF 2422 (Freiberg) Unit of local government sales tax exemption modified.
Rep. Nelson moved HF 2669
HF 2669 (Ward, J.E.) Baxter and Brainerd; local sales and use taxes extended.
Rep. Nelson moved to amend HF 2669 (see attached
H2669A1 amendment). THE MOTION PREVALIED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
