MINUTES
Representative Carlson, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 6:02 P.M. on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Mariani moved approval of the minutes of Monday, February 4, 2013. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
Rep. Huntley moved that HF9, Second Engrossment, be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
Rep. Huntley presented HF9, Second Engrossment (Huntley) Medical assistance eligibility expanded, and modified adjusted gross income and standard income disregard use required.
Rep. Huntley moved to amend HF9, Second Engrossment. (See attached amendment
H0009DE3-1).
Chair Carlson offered an oral amendment to Amendment H0009DE3-1, as follows:
Page 4, Delete Section 6
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Randy Chun, House Research, responded to questions regarding the proposed amendment as amended to HF9, Second Engrossment.
Rep. Huntley renewed the motion to amend HF9, Second Engrossment. (See attached amendment H0009DE3-1, as amended).
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.
Rep. Huntley renewed the motion that HF9, Second Engrossment, as amended, be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
