CAPITAL INVESTMENT COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Torkelson, Chair of the House Capital Investment Committee, called the joint meeting of the House Capital Investment Committee and the Senate Capital Investment Committee to order at 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, in Room ten of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Torkelson called the meeting to order at 12:50 p.m. A quorum was present.

Representative Albright moved to approve the minutes of January 29, 2015. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Minnesota Public Facilities Authority Executive Director, Jeff Freeman, opened the meeting with a brief overview and history of the Lewis & Clark Pipeline water project.

Executive Director of the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System, Troy Larson, Chairman of the Lewis & Clark Board, Lennis Red Arndt, and Worthington Public Utilities General Manager and member of the Executive Committee of the Lewis & Clark Board, Scott Hain, presented an update of the progress of the Lewis & Clark Pipeline water project and touched upon the remaining funds still needed to complete the project.

Nora Pollck, from the Senate Counsel, and Fiscal Analyst Shelby McQuay presented provisions from last session’s Tax Committee.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:28 p.m.
