CAPITAL INVESTMENT COMMITTEE
MINUTES
Representative Torkelson, Chair of the Capital Investment Committee, called the ninth meeting to order at 12:49 P.M. on Thursday, February 19, 2015, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Torkelson called the meeting to order at 12:49 P.M. A quorum was present.
Representative Wagenius moved to approve the minutes of February 5, 2015. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Assistant Commissioner, Bob Meier, and Director, Kent Lokkesmore, presented an overview of the Department of Natural Resources Asset Preservation and Flood Mitigation Program.
Ron Harnack, Project Coordinator for the Red River Watershed Board, presented an overview of Minnesota’s Flood Mitigation.
Representative Hausman provided the committee with a funding chart of the history of Flood Hazard Mitigation Grant Assistance Program in the Red River Basin from 1997 – present.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:22 P.M.
