MINUTES

Representative Scott, Chair of the Civil Law and Data Practices Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on March 22nd, 2016, in Hearing Room Ten of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Scott called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. A quorum was present.


Representative Zerwas moved to approve the minutes of March 17h, 2016. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2866-(McNamara)
Invasive special control provided, wild rice license requirements modified, streamlined review of plans and regulations provided, civil penalties provided and modified, and report required.

Representative Hoppe moved that HF2866 be re-referred to the committee on Government Operations and Elections.

Representative Hoppe renewed his motion that HF2866 be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1586-(Hoppe)
Bad faith assertions of patent infringements prohibited, and enforcement provided.

Representative Hoppe moved that HF1586 be re-refereed to the General Register.

Patient designated caregiver opportunity and patient aftercare needs requirements.

Representative Zerwas moved that SF107 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Zerwas moved to incorporate the following oral amendment to SF107: On page 4 line 4.14 change “2016 to 2017.” THE AMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED.

Representative Zerwas renewed his motion that SF107 be re-referred as amended to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Tax debt included as debt that is covered under debt settlement services regulation.

Representative Smith moved that HF2641 be re-referred to the General Register.
